About JNI

Founded by a dynamic nursing informatics leader with over 28 years of experience

JNI Consulting is led by Shelli-Ann McKenzie, MS, RN, PMP, CPHIMS, Founder and CEO. She was named to the ATL Plus 50 Most Powerful Women list (2025) and is a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She is a Post-Masters DNP candidate in Executive Leadership at Arkansas State University, researching the technology preparation to practice gap in healthcare.

Shelli-Ann has delivered more than 20 EHR implementation and optimization engagements across Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson, and GE Centricity Perinatal, for organizations from community hospitals to academic medical centers.
